This Privacy Policy is designed to inform you about how Sociokart ("we," "us," "our," or "Sociokart"), an entity based in India, collects, uses, shares, protects, and processes your personal information when you download, access, register for, or use the Joyse mobile application, any associated websites, and any related products, services, features, content, or applications offered by Sociokart (collectively referred to as the "Platform").

Sociokart is committed to protecting your privacy. Your access to, registration for, download, or use of our Platform (collectively, "use" of the Platform) constitutes your acknowledgement that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by the terms of this Privacy Policy and our Terms of Service. If you do not agree with any part of this Privacy Policy or our Terms of Service, you must not use our Platform.

This Privacy Policy aims to be transparent about our data practices. We encourage you to read this policy carefully.

We collect various types of information in connection with the services we provide, including information that can be used to identify you directly or indirectly ("Personal Information").

  • Transaction Information: If you make any purchases through the Platform, our third-party Payment Gateway providers will collect payment information necessary to process your transaction. We do not directly collect or store your full credit card numbers; this information is handled securely by our payment processors. We may receive transaction confirmations and related details (e.g., transaction ID, amount, date).
  • User-Generated Content: Any information, text, images, videos, audio, or other materials you create, upload, post, share, or transmit on or through the Platform.

Information about the source that may have referred you to our Platform.
  • Device Information: Device type, manufacturer, model, operating system and version, and screen resolution. Unique device identifiers (e.g., IDFA for iOS, AAID for Android). Mobile network provider, network type, and signal strength. App version and installation date. Device settings like language and time zone.
  • Location Information (with your specific consent): If you grant specific permission through your device settings or app prompts for location services, we may collect precise geolocation data from your device. You can typically manage or disable this via your device settings or app permissions at any time. We may infer your general geographic location from your IP address or other network information.
  • Cookies and Similar Tracking Technologies (including SDKs): Small data files (cookies) stored on your device or browser that allow us and our third-party partners to recognize your device and collect information about your usage patterns. Tiny electronic images (web beacons/pixels) embedded in web pages or emails that allow us to track user activity. Various third-party Software Development Kits (SDKs) integrated into our Platform. These SDKs are tools provided by our partners that help us with functionalities such as:
    • Analytics: Understanding Platform usage, user behavior, performance, and engagement.
    • Ads Tracking & App Tracking: Measuring the effectiveness of advertising campaigns, tracking app installations and attributing them to specific sources, and potentially delivering targeted advertising (where applicable and with specific consent if required by platform policies or law).
    • Payment Gateways: Facilitating secure in-app purchases and transactions.
    • Application Performance Monitoring: Identifying and diagnosing crashes, errors, and performance issues.
    • Other SDKs: Enabling other features and functionalities essential for operating and improving the Platform (e.g., push notifications, customer support tools).
    These SDKs and tracking technologies may collect certain Usage Data and Device Information as described in this section, which is then shared with the respective SDK provider to enable these services. Technologies like HTML5 local storage that allow data to be stored locally on your device.

2.3. Information We Collect from Third-Party Sources:

  • Social Media Platforms: If you choose to link or log in to your Joyse account with a third-party social media service, we may receive information from that service in accordance with your privacy settings on that platform and their terms.
  • Service Providers and Partners (including SDK Providers): We may receive information about you or aggregated insights from our third-party service providers and business partners, including those who provide the SDKs mentioned above.
  • Publicly Available Sources: We may collect information from publicly available sources, where permitted by applicable law.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect for a variety of business purposes, based on your agreement to this Privacy Policy by using the Platform, including:

  • To Provide, Maintain, and Improve Our Platform: Operate and maintain the Platform, including authenticating users, delivering core functionalities, and processing transactions via our Payment Gateway partners. Verify your age using your Date of Birth. Develop new features, products, and services, and enhance existing ones, informed by data from Analytics SDKs and user feedback. Enhance, improve, and personalize your experience. This includes using your provided Gender and other information to tailor content or features. Monitor and analyze usage, trends, and activities using Analytics and App Tracking SDKs to understand how our Platform is being used and to inform our business strategy. Troubleshoot technical issues, monitor app performance, and ensure the stability and security of the Platform, partly through Application Performance Monitoring SDKs.
  • To Communicate with You: Send you transactional or administrative communications. Respond to your comments, questions, and support requests. Send you promotional materials, newsletters, and other information, where permitted by applicable law and with your specific consent if required for such communications (you may opt-out).
  • For Marketing and Advertising (where applicable): To measure the effectiveness of our advertising campaigns and attribute app installations using Ads Tracking and App Tracking SDKs. To potentially deliver relevant advertising to you on or off the Platform, in compliance with applicable laws and with specific consent if required by platform policies or law for such activities.
  • For Analytics and Research: Conduct internal research and analysis to understand user behavior, preferences, and demographics. Generate aggregated or de-identified data for statistical purposes and business intelligence.
  • For Security, Safety, and Legal Compliance: Protect the rights, property, or safety of Sociokart, our users, or the public. Detect, prevent, investigate, and address fraud, unauthorized access, and other illegal or harmful activities. Enforce our Terms of Service and other policies. Comply with applicable laws, regulations, and legal processes.

4. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your Personal Information in the traditional sense. However, we may share your information with third parties in the following circumstances to operate and improve our Platform:

  • Service Providers (including SDK Providers): We share information with third-party vendors, consultants, contractors, and other service providers who perform services on our behalf or to help us operate our business. These may include:
    • Cloud hosting providers.
    • Payment Gateway Providers.

    • Advertising and Marketing Partners (including Ads & App Tracking SDKs).

Joyse aims to provide a respectful interaction environment. When you connect with other users (whom you might refer to as "listeners" or similar terms depending on the Platform's features) on the Joyse Platform, your registered Name will be visible to them to facilitate these interactions.

Your Phone Number, Date of Birth, and Gender provided at registration will not be automatically shared by the Platform with other end-users during these general interactions. Please be mindful of any personal information you voluntarily choose to share directly with other users through messages or other communication features within the Platform, as Sociokart cannot control information shared directly between users.

6. Data Security

We implement and maintain reasonable technical, administrative, and organizational measures designed to protect your Personal Information from unauthorized access, use, alteration, disclosure, or destruction, taking into account the risks involved in the processing and the nature of the Personal Information.

However, please be aware that no internet or electronic transmission is ever fully secure or error-free, and no security system is impenetrable. Therefore, we cannot guarantee the absolute security of your information. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for controlling access to your device.

7. Data Retention

We will retain your Personal Information for as long as is reasonably necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this Privacy Policy, including to provide you with the Platform, comply with our legal and regulatory obligations in India, resolve disputes, enforce our agreements, or for other legitimate business purposes.

When your Personal Information is no longer needed for these purposes, we will take reasonable steps to securely delete or anonymize it.

Our Platform is not intended for or directed at individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect Personal Information from individuals under 18. 10. Third-Party Links and Services

Our Platform may contain links to third-party websites, services, or applications that are not operated or controlled by us, including the services provided by our SDK partners. If you click on a third-party link or interact with a service enabled by an SDK, you may be directed to that third party's site or service. We have no control over and assume no responsibility for the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party sites or services. We strongly advise you to review the privacy policy of every third-party site or service you visit or interact with.

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, legal or regulatory requirements, or for other operational reasons. We will notify you of any material changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and/or within the Joyse Platform, and by updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of this Privacy Policy.

You are advised to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes. Your continued use of the Platform after any changes to this Privacy Policy are posted will constitute your acceptance of such changes.
